The Mother Lode Friends of Music present classical music performances in the central region of California's historic Gold Country. Founded in the early 1990s, the organization offers several concerts of chamber music each season. Each season includes one of more "house concerts" and/or special events such as the 2018 collaboration with Baker Street West presenting the "Musical World of Sherlock Holmes." Most concerts are held in Amador and Calaveras Counties. Concerts are presented free of charge and support for the non-profit comes from community donations.
